On the 29th of June, for the first time in 15 months, Polish Health Ministry reported zero Covid deaths in the nation since the pandemic began.
The Xinhua News Organisation reported that according to the Ministry of Health, the total count of death remains at 74,979. The infection tally in Poland has reached 2,878,840 in total. However, the number of daily infections is plunging day by day and according to the Polish Health Ministry, only 52 cases were recorded on Monday.
Poland, like other countries, had also put restrictions in the country due to increasing cases in March. The lockdown limitations were fixed beginning on 31 March – 1 April by an administration guideline, requiring people strolling inroads to be isolated by two meters, shutting parks, streets, seashores, stylists and beauty parlours, and precluding unaccompanied minors from leaving their homes. A follow-up guideline on 10 April relaxed the limitations on open social affairs beginning from 20 April, permitting strict get-togethers and burial services to be held for up to a limit of 50 individuals. But now the country is moderately opening its economy because the cases began to drop as more immunizations were administered. Up until this point, 11.7 million Poles have been completely immunized, giving an immunization pace of 30.68 per cent.
