Tamilnadu must make progress on all fronts and this concept put Pattali Makkal Katchi (PMK) and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on the same platform, said Sam Paul, candidate of PMK contesting from central Chennai constituency for the forthcoming parliamentary elections.
Similarity in thoughts, ideas brings two political parties together. Ideas, concepts of both parties match. Welfare for all, progress for Tamilnadu are the ideals common in both of us. NDA government has done commendable work in the last few years, he reminds.
High on agenda for Sam Paul is focusing on government schools. They have to be readied in a way that they can bestow quality education to ecomically disadvantaged sections. Attention is for government hospitals also, says Sam. Objective is to turn them into facilities that give treatment on par with global standards.
Working for women safety too is a priority for us. We have to ensure no trouble befalls them, be it a workspot, a street or an isolated locality. This man vouches big for digitisation. It is time to take Digital India, scheme floated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi to next level. Bring services of various establishments too on the digital platform.
Give a big space for transparency also, says the young leader. Should I be made a minister, I would work for implementing digitisation and transparency in that ministry. I met Dr Ramadoss, founder of PMK party in 2017, he was the one to discover the innate desire of serving the public in me. He encouraged me to join politics. That is how I have joined PMK party.
His (Ramadoss) work and his view of politics have influenced me since my days in the college. My war is against corrupt environment, politics. Deal deathblow to them, for they generate corrupt people, he says.
