Daiwa D50U1WOS 4K TV Running LG’s webOS With Support for HDR10, Dolby Audio Launched in India

Apart from LG, the Daiwa D50U1WOS smart TV has been unveiled in India, and it claims to be the first 4K TV running LG’s webOS TV. The Daiwa D50U1WOS also includes ThinQ AI and a Magic remote, both of which are included with certain LG smart TVs. The Daiwa TV has a bezel-less design with a 96 percent screen-to-body ratio, as well as HDR10 support, MEMC technology, Dolby Audio, and other features. A quad-core processor and a Mali GPU power the TV.

The Daiwa D50U1WOS has a narrow bezel on three sides and a 50-inch 4K (3,8402,160 pixels) DLED A+ grade panel. At the bottom, there’s a narrow chin with Daiwa logo. The TV has a 60Hz refresh rate, a 16:9 aspect ratio, and a contrast ratio of 1,000,000:1. It has a max brightness of 400 nits with Quantum Liminit+ technology.

It is powered by a quad-core ARM CA55 processor with a clock speed of 1.1GHz and a MALI G31 MP2 GPU. It has 1.5 GB of RAM and 8 GB of internal storage. It’s powered by LG’s webOS TV and includes ThinQ AI voice capabilities. HDR10, HLG, and MEMC are all supported by the Daiwa D50U1WOS. Twenty-watt box speakers with Dolby Audio compatibility handle the audio. Netflix, Youtube, Prime Video, Disney+ Hotstar, Zee5, SonyLiv, and other OTT services can be controlled via LG ThinQ smartphone apps on the TV. It uses the app for voice control, remote control, and device management.

Dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.0, three HDMI 2.0 ports, two USB 2.0 ports, Ethernet, Optical Output, earphone jack, RF In, and AV In are all included in the Daiwa D50U1WOS TV’s connectivity. The Magic Remote that comes with the TV is identical to the one that comes with LG’s smart televisions. It features an Air Mouse-compatible scroll wheel in the centre and a dedicated voice assistant button. The Daiwa D50U1WOS TV has dimensions of 1,120x90x655mm and weighs 9.4kg without the stand.

The Daiwa D50U1WOS is priced at Rs. 43,999 for the single 50-inch model, which is the first in the series, according to the firm. It may be purchased through top retail outlets in India as well as the official website.
