COAS visits AFS Avadi

Air Force Station at Avadi was the hub of activity recently when chief of Indian Air Force (IAF) visited it. Air Chief Marshal B S Dhanoa was there from 21 to 22 June, according to sources from Defense Ministry. 

Chief of Air Staff (COAS) got a warm welcome from Air Commodore J Rajendra, Air Officer Commanding, Air Force Station, Avadi.

COAS Dhanoa visited various units, sites and sections and inspected the modernization and indigenization efforts undertaken by the station. He also interacted with the station personnel and emphasized on the need for professionalism, competence and effective leadership at every level. 

The dignitary also visited Cholavaram Air Field near Red Hills. CAS has expressed his satisfaction on various activities being undertaken by the Station and acknowledged its vital role. 

He also congratulated the station personnel for upholding high standards in logistics, maintenance, administration and training activities.
