Management Training Programme Held In Chennai

Training programme on management and ensuring safety of  medical devices was held in Chennai recently. The event was organised by Indian Pharmacopoeia Commission (IPC) at the premises of south zone office of Central Drugs Standard Control Organisation (CDSCO) at Sashtri Bhavan in Chennai recently. 
According to a press release, the training programme went on for two days and aimed at enhancing help to startups that are aspiring to manufacture medical devices and to generate awareness on analysing the quality parametres of medical devices, testing their safety levels. While the programme focused on those involved in medical equipment manufacturing and marketing, more than 75 participants across the country took part in it.
Secretary cum scientific director of IPC Dr G N Singh said IPC is committed towards ensuring high quality compliance among the medical equipments. Director with Central Drug Testing Laboratory Dr N Murugesan said following high standards while manufacturing medicines and medical equipments was required to keep the health parametres intact.
