“SHASUN SANSKRITI” is an opportunity to expose your hidden artist
Art is an act of expressing our thoughts, emotions and a passion to fulfill what we intently desires in our lives. There is a hidden artist in every human being and sometimes it just requires an opportunity to be expressed and portrayed.

And thus, an art exhibition is one such platform in which every artist craves for and here at Shri Shankarlal Sundarbai Shasun Jain College for Women, is giving the exact opportunity to their young and aspiring students to express and execute their talents.
Shasun Sanskriti 2018, is an art exhibition organized by the school’s Media and Communication Department, providing the opportunity to display the student’s works in its campus gallery. This is the fourth edition of Shasun Sanskriti that was held last 20th of September, 2018 at Shri Shankarlal Sundarbai Shasun Jain College for Women, T. Nagar.
The exhibition was inaugurated by Mrs. Janaki Sabesh, an Indian actress and a storyteller. She shared a few words of her thoughts on the exhibition and was felicitated by the college. There was an interactive session where the students and the participants from other schools and colleges got to interact with her.
This time, the event was bigger and better. The exhibition had various categories such as, Caricatures, Digital paintings, Photographs and Virtual Reality of art works done by the college girls. They had also conducted competitions in drawing, digital painting and photography.
The Secretary Mr. Abhay Jain shared his words about the exhibition. “The exhibition was excellent and it seems like a professional art work” said a visitor at the exhibition.
An encouragement is all it takes to an artist to be born and to stimulates his/her desires and looking forward to more of such exhibition which would showcase the talents of the students.
