SRM Institute of Hotel Management on 7th of February conducted an International culinary demonstration & Interactive session with “Master Baker”-Chef Karl Guggenmos, Dean of Johnson Wales University California, a Global Master Chef, is renowned near and far, for his delightful baking skills and flair, at SRM IHM.

This session was attended by the students of IHM Chennai, the Hotel management students of ASAN Memorial college of Arts and science, Students of SRM College Ekkaduthaangal and Students of SRM IHM.

The demonstration given by chef Karl Guggenmos in presenting aromatic, delicious, scrumptious dishes like Italian Yummy Juicy Ricotta Cheese Dumplings and Italian aromatic Lemon chicken Piccata with spinach made the witnessing students and the budding chefs to strive and dream ahead of a step in their passion and enthusiasm of becoming the future chefs.

The SRM Institute of Hotel Management was established in the year 1993 and is a part of the premier educational SRM group. Believing in the all encompassing development of a student ,it has been putting forth quality hospitality education and training for more than two and half decades, thereby focusing on all the aspects which in turn would thus shape a student to become a competent professional.

This tie up between various international culinary organizations and SRM IHM for sure will empower the students of SRM IHM to expand their horizons beyond the classrooms, expanding their employability with a scope of degree and nationally-recognized diploma, certificate and different programs suitable for their level of experience and commitment.

The event was concluded by Dr. D. Antony Ashok Kumar, the Director of SRMIHM honoring Master Baker Chef Karl Guggenmos with the memento and also to Ms. Kasturi Thangiah, the Recruitment Manager of At Sunrice, Singapore.
