VELAMMAL’S ATHLETE WINS GOLD IN NATIONAL LEVEL

The Management of the Velammal Vidyalaya was ecstatic over the triumph of Jeyani, a standard VIII student of the Chennai based school , who was felicitated in abundance as she successfully fetched a gold medal in long jump and a silver in 100 meters race in 1st Schools India Cup National Athletics Championship which was held at Ratnagiri, Maharashtra between the 21st to the 25th of January, 2018. The victory of the promising athlete was very well received by the Management as well as the school. She quite adeptly was also able to splendidly bag the BEST ATHLETE TROPHY among the 1000 athletes throughout the Nation.
