Yogi Adityanath slams Opposition for doing ‘negative politics’
Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath on Tuesday banged on the opposition party for questioning the government on the claimed Pegasus phone hack controversy and for causing a disturbance in the Parliament.
While speaking to reporters at a press conference, Yogi Adityanath questioned the behavior of the Congress-led opposition and summons it of giving way to negative politics. He stressed that they apologize.
“It was because of the ‘negative attitude’ shown by the Opposition that it did not enable matters pertaining to the common people to be brought up in Parliament,” Yogi Adityanath said.
“For the before two days, the Opposition has been making an effort to vitiate the essence of the country over the Pegasus matter, and it only demonstrates their unwilling mentality. Congress governments had been accomplishing exceptionally aspects during their tenures and now the party is pursuing the same while in Opposition,” he said.
The chief minister confessed that the opposition had indulged in negative politics regularly even throughout the pandemic.
He claimed that the publishing of the report about the alleged phone hacking of leaders exactly before the Parliament’s monsoon session was an unpleasant unavoidable strategy.
