Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar on Friday said that in spite of certain assertions made by state Congress boss Nana Patole, the latter’s partners Balasaheb Thorat and Ashok Chavan have explained that the MVA government in the state was solid and working unitedly. Questioned on whether Patole’s new comments highlighted absence of solidarity in the decision regulation, Pawar said such proclamations are made in shut entryway gatherings to help the confidence of gathering laborers.
“Regardless of whether such proclamations were made, other Congress pioneers like Balasaheb Thorat and Ashok Chavan have explained that the (MVA) coalition is solid and we as a whole are cooperating. Indeed, even Patole repeated comparable assessments later,” he said, adding that the whole Congress party was filling in as one under the administration of its boss Sonia Gandhi. Pawar invalidated media reports that he had examined this issue with Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray, and furthermore rubbished others which said the Zoting Commission report had prosecuted BJP-turned-NCP pioneer Eknath Khadse in a land bargain.
He added that the state government had not gotten the Zoting Commission report at this point. Asked on the BJP-controlled Pune Municipal Corporation passing a goal to draft an improvement plan for 23 towns converged into it as of late, Pawar said the PMC could take such a choice however it was for the state government to choose whether the DP will be made by the urban body or the Pune Metropolitan Region Development Authority.
The state government had as of late given a notice designating PMRDA as the “arranging authority” for the 23 towns.
