CG (ES) Commander meets TN Governor
S Vishnu Sharmaa, INN/Chennai, @Svs037Additional Director General VS Pathania, Coast Guard Commander (Eastern Seaboard) and Inspector General S Paramesh, Commander, Coast Guard Region, East paid a courtesy call to the Governor of Tamilnadu Banwarilal Purohit on 26 November at Raj Bhavan.
Various facets and developments pertaining to Indian Coast Guard especially in Tamilnadu were briefed to the Governor. With the ever increasing challenges of security and safety at sea, discussions were focused on strengthening the maritime domain of the coastal state of Tamilnadu.Governor was also briefed on the progress of future developments. Governor was assured that Indian Coast Guard would continue providing rescue and relief to the fishermen whenever they are in distress at sea.
