SRM University (AP, Amaravati) students host AP CM’S Prestigious Youth Allowance Scheme Launch

The Andhra Pradesh Chief Ministers youth friendly scheme  ‘Mukhyamantri Yuva Nestam’ was launched in a grand manner recently. The event was held near the residence of Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu in Amravati. 

Mukhyamantri Yuva Nestam is an ambitious project focused on providing assistance to educated unemployed youth for skill development and up-skilling. This will eventually lead to apprenticeships and jobs and shows the commitment of the Government in providing gainful employment to all across the state.

Computer Science Engineering students Kaushik Bhargava and Akansha Chouhan turned the hosts for the event.  Srabani Basu, HOD, Career Development Centre at the university and Poolla Ramesh Kumar, Chief Liaison Officer of the university guided the students through the proceedings.

SRM University (AP, Amaravati) began its contribution towards the progress of Andhra Pradesh quite sometime ago. P. Sathyanarayan, President, SRM University decided to set up a global university at Amaravati, soon after the Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu announced the plans of building it from the scratch. The university today has shaped up well to provide engineering and liberal arts courses. Nara Lokesh, Minister for Information Technology, Panchayati Raj and Rural Development was also present.

SRM University (AP, Amaravati) is a multi-disciplinary research university with an all PhD faculty in the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences, School of Liberal Arts and Basic Sciences, and Business Management. Plans are also there to offer programs in law and medicine. Spread across a sprawling 200 acre campus, it will be globally connected whilst being regionally transformative. SRM is partnering with the world’s best names for educational method and philosophy, campus design and infrastructure, learning and living spaces, and recruitment of faculty and leadership.
