Bosch Fuel Pump lab inaugurated at Kalasalingam University

At Kalasalingam University, Bangalore, Bosch Fuel Pump Ltd. set up a new lab for pump calibrations and testing under the Department of Automobile Engineering in accordance to the MOU signed by the varsity and Bosch Pump Division, Bangalore.
Dr. K. Sridharan , The Chancellor of the University, cut the ribbon and inaugurated the laboratory for studentās use while Dr. S. Shasi Anand opened the Bosch Fuel Pump Training Center near the laboratory. Dr. S. Arivalagi Sridaran, Director of AIHT, activated the pump calibration machine and the Vice-Chancellor, Dr. S. Saravana Sankar, presented the felicitations.
Mrs. Shweta magazine, Manager, Technical services handed over the MOU to the Vice Chancellor and said that this lab was set up by Bosch for the facilities of Air conditioning services in a car, Auto electrical service and complete Micro fuel pump services with calibrations. The MOU and inaugural function were organized by Dr. Udhay Kumar and Dr. Thirumalai Kumar.
āThe Training Center will organize and conduct specific training modules for students, faculty and institution staff along with customer from outside the campusā she added.
Mr. K. Aravind, Regional Trainer, said that Bosh is aiming at fulfilling the needs of rural people and the Training Center will play a pivotal role in achieving the same. Prof Dr. S. Karthik and Dr. Saravana Kumar, who were trained at the Bangalore Factory, will be in charge of training students here, Dr. Siva Subramaniam, Head of Automobile Engg Department, said.
Kalasalingam University will be the first institution PAN India to set up an Automobile Fuel pump Calibration Center for training students. Furthermore, the Laboratory experiments on Starter, Dynamo, Pump, Air conditioning etc. will be inculcated in the syllabus too, Dr. Winollin Jappes, Dean, told the press.
