Two-day EV Strategy And Innovation Meet

Energy Alternatives India (EAI), India’s leading clean tech research and consulting firm will host premier electric vehicle event, “The India EV Summit”. The two – day summit incorporates presentations, panel discussions and networking sessions on 17th and 18th of August 2018 (Friday & Saturday) at Le Royal Meridian, Guindy, Chennai. The theme of the event is “Where Innovation Meets Strategy for EVs and about 500 plus industry professionals, 100 plus EV experts, and all the key EV stakeholders will participate.
India’s largest EV (Electric Vehicle) summit aims to define an effective growth strategy for the Indian EV sector. The turnout of industry professionals and EV experts will focus on combining strategy and innovation to lay the road map for the Indian Electric Vehicle industry. To mark the occasion, a white paper titled “Evolution or Revolution? – Strategizing for EV Growth in India was released recently.
The main objective of the summit is to engage business professionals to gain insights into the current status and trends in electric vehicles in India, and understand the potential business opportunities in the emerging industry.
Some of the participating companies & organizations include Mahindra, Ashok Leyland, Amara Raja, Electrotherm, Ampere, Bosch, Fortum, GE, Lohia Auto, IIT, IISc, Lithion Power, Sun Mobility, and more. Some of the consulting clients include the likes of World Bank, Reliance, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, State Government of Tamil Nadu, and the Vedanta Group. Experts from all key EV stakeholder segments like OEMs, component makers, battery and BMS companies, EV charging station vendors, scientists, researchers, start-ups and more will share their perspectives. A special session will showcase emerging and innovative EV solutions; and dedicated demo sessions will take delegates through demos of electric buses, two and three wheeler.
