Jasprit Bumrah: The IPL’s gift to International Cricket

Jasprit Jasbirsingh Bumrah is an Indian cricketer who plays for the National cricket team. He went to the International matches after devoting a couple of years in Indian Premier League (IPL) for Mumbai Indians and his native team Gujrat.
Giving his incredibly great performance in IPL he entered into International games from the National Indian Team. Some of his best IPL innings are as follows :
- 2017 – Super Over against Gujrat Lions IPL
Lions batted first with a slow pace scoring just 151. Bumrah took the match in his hands by taking a key wicket of Suresh Raina and then reproducing by dismissing James Faulkner.
Taking a run out at the last ball, he took the match to the Super over. He deceived Aaron Finch & Brendon McCullum with his slow & fast yorkers.
- 2017 – Taking 3-7 against KKR
Winning the trust of his captain Rohit Sharma who won the toss and chose to field against KKR (Kolkata Knight Riders) he took the match in his hand by taking the wicket of Chris Lynn in his first over.
In the powerplay overs, he dismissed Rohit Uthappa and then came back to death by removing top scorer Suryakumar Yadav from the field and leaving KKR at just 107.
- 2017 – Powers Mumbai to the title.
In the finals, when Mumbai won the toss and chose to bat, but could get to just 129 on that big day. But the legend had another way to take a team towards the title. He knocked out Rahul Tripathi at just 3.
He wasn’t over at this and took a wicket of MS Dhoni in the death overs and made a title for the team.
Showing all his best of the performances, he kept his foot in Internationals and started shining in the eyes of the World.
Some of his outshining performances in International are as follows :
- 2018 Bumrah’s Brilliant Hat Trick against West Indies
Bumrah became the third Indian to get a Hat Trick after Harbajan Singh and Irfan Pathan. He took an amazing hat trick in a test match against West Indies and made a record.
- 2018 Test series 3-46 against England
Bumrah took an amazing 3-46 against England on the first day of test cricket. He took the wickets of Moeen Ali at 40 and Sam Carran not allowing them to make their half and full centuries.
He made his T20 international debut against Australia in 2016 and is still showing his best performance in Indian and International matches.
