Government is planning to establish more of centres like this

Ministry of Culture which operates Scheme for Promotion of Culture of Science (SPOCS) is working towards setting up Science Cities and Science Centres in all the States of the country. The information was shared in Lok Sabha recently by Minister of State (IC) for Culture and Minister of State for Environment, Forest & Climate Change Dr. Mahesh Sharma. The initiative provides availability of funds and invites states willing to avail this Scheme to provide land details and share the cost of setting up of facility and corpus for upkeep and maintenance.
The details of Science Cities set up in the country are as under.
- Science City, Kolkata, West Bengal
- Pushpa Gujral Science City, Kapurtala, Punjab
- Science City, Ahmedabad, Gujarat
- Regional Science City, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh
