On the occasion of 30 th  National Road Safety Week, Amity University Gwalior organised a seminar on Road Safety and Traffic Rules. The chief guests were Mr Navnit Bhasin, Superintendent of Police and Mr Pankaj Pandey, Assistant Superintendent of Police. Mr Bhasin and Mr Pandey through means of audio-visual presentation, apprised the students about road safety measures to steer clear of accidents.

Due to an upsurge in road accidents as witnessed in the recent times, it’s now essential for the youth to be aware of safety and rules. Keeping this in mind, the seminar was organised for the students. Mr Bhasin and Mr Pandey in their presentation, held peer pressure amongst youngsters, the primary reason responsible for road accidents.

They emphasised that it’s the responsibility of an individual to inform the police if they witness any road accident and also asked the students to always drive patiently without violating the traffic rules.

The students were enlightened after having a learning experience about rules and safety  measures. With this, the seminar was happily settled.
