How to Stay Physically Fit in Quarantine?

Indeed this quarantine taught us many things, it has united us, taught the real meaning of family, brought all of us together, like as Earlier, we all were just busy with our life someone was engaged at work, jobs, schools, colleges & business, etc.

But being in this quarantine has been a golden chance to keep track of our habits, and also provided us the golden opportunity to groom our personality.

Many of us have been trying to make best out of our quarantine being at home but what about the people who are seeking and missing their outdoor activities such as gym, playing sports, pt exercises, jogging, etc. but from now onward this issue is also going to get sorted and it’s only for people who can never give up on their physique and fitness especially.

So here I am going to mention some useful things which can work as an elixir for maintaining your body and will keep you fit this quarantine.

This is the time you need to train your mind & not only eat but also exercise consciously and try taking your usual busy life back on a healthy track, so let’s get ahead and go through them.

Pen down a Schedule – planning a schedule helps to motivate you and also helps you to work and shortlist your favorite things and these activities will also improve your punctuality.

Set a Workout Routine – staying at home helps you take out time to stick to a workout routine and if you are trying to boost your strength, height, fitness, or either it’s about losing your weight, and then you really don’t need to go to parks or gyms.

All you need is a corner of your house where you have optimum space it can be either your private garden or living room after each, and everything is done then the only thing left is the exercises that are helpful for you to boost your physique. So here are some of them-

 


STAIR RUNNING-

The majority of people love jogging and running, but it’s difficult to go out during these days, so instead of that, they can go for stair running.

In this, you have to first go for 2 rounds up & down which can be your warm-up rounds.

Then slowly jog up & down on the stairs which may get equalized to jogging. You can slowly increase your jog speed and try increasing it by doing it a minute extra every week.


CRUNCHES-

So crunches have been proved for building up your core & tighten your stomach, but it’s advised to not to obsess them, and also, they should be a small part of your workout.

It’s basically performed by the following method:

• Lay on your back with your knees bent & feet flat on the floor.
• Place your hands behind your head.
• Elbows out, and your chin shouldn’t be touching your chest.
• Pull your abdomen inwards & try to lift your head, neck & shoulders of the floor.
• Then slowly lower your self without hurting your head.
• Do at least 3 rounds of 12 reps.

PLANKS-

Planks basically help in improving your posture and strengthen your back, core, chest, neck, shoulder & abs.

It’s one of the most effective exercises that activate a lot of muscles in our body. It’s performed by the following method:

• Place elbows on the floor aligned below your shoulders and arms should be parallel for your body.
• Your neck should remain in the position looking at one point on the floor and your head and back should be aligned.
• Now hold this position for 30 seconds.

Performing these exercises daily will make you fit and also help in boosting your strength.
