Even with the increasing industrialization and urbanization in the state, Maharashtra is one state that has worked to preserve its traditional values and culture. And nearly 60% of the people are involved in agriculture related field. The main food crops of Maharashtra are mangoes, grapes, bananas, oranges, wheat rice, jowar, Bajra, and pulses. The people are warm, kind and soft hearted with each and everyone and welcoming outsiders with love and respect.
