Political agitation Remains in Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee.
Punjab Pradesh Committee is still perplexed in the political drama. After so many meetings and gambling, On 18th July Sunday, the Congress selected cricketer-turned-politician and former cabinet minister Navjot Singh Sidhu as the next administrator of the Punjab Congress, neglecting the steadfast opposition from CM Capt. Amarinder Singh and the other leaders who are close to him. But now it seems that the agitation between the new President of Punjab Pradesh Congress and the CM Capt. Amarinder Singh is not yet left to end the dispute.
The ascent of Navjot Singh Sidhu as President of the Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee has not ended the political turbulence in the State Unit. This conflict between the two strong leaders leading to the path of the division of the party. It resembles all is not well, and Punjab Pradesh Congress has been divided into two quarters in a State.
Everyone was thinking that this agitation could have overseen for a happy ending progressing of next year’s state elections, where Sidhu would give his prominence in the Elections. He has been promoting for in his power game with Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh.
However, Captain consented to the peace formula but a set of amendments, including his insertion in the precondition decisions leading the votes, so he could easily select his cabinet without any hassle, in the return of the apology from Sidhu.
But now, after seeing the meeting battle between both the ministers, it might change the perspective of peace to ignoring the game.
On Saturday night [17 July 2021], commenced what appeared to be another twist in the exaggeration. When everyone considered it was to be a done deal for a balance of authority between Sidhu and the chief minister is now hauling on and facing severe hindrances.
Although, Sidhu endured the process of engaging with the Ministers, legislators, and Congress leaders. While, Captain Amarinder Singh had a meeting with Assembly Speaker Rana K. P. Singh, former PPCC President Lal Singh, Ministers Brahm Mahindra, Balbir Singh Sidhu, Sadhu Singh Dharmsot, and a few MLAs at his official residence on Monday.
Mr. Sidhu, whose official residence is in the same area, had a co-ordinate meeting with some Ministers, MLAs, and Congress leaders, including former PPCC President Sunil Jakhar and Cabinet Minister Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa.
Notwithstanding living in the identical area, Captain Amarinder Singh and Sidhu did not meet each other. On Tuesday, Mr. Sidhu, accompanied by a Caravan of Congress, leaders moved to Amritsar, where he had his political base, to meet his supporters. He had also visited Shri Hari Mandir Sahib and Durgiana temple there.
