Don’t Expect Competent Govt & Honest CM from BJP by Removing Yediyurappa

Bengaluru, Jul 22 (PTI) Accusing Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa of giving a ‘terrible government’ to Karnataka, senior Congress pioneer Siddaramaiah on Thursday said he doesn’t expect that the state will get a capable government and a legitimate CM by eliminating him, as the BJP itself is a ‘bad gathering’.

The head of resistance in the state gathering was responding to Yediyurppa’s assertion showing that he is in transit.

‘Yediyurappa gave an awful government to Karnataka. He gave an uncouth government which was bad and not for improvement,’ Siddaramaiah said.

Addressing correspondents here, he reminded that he has been saying for as far back as six to seven months dependent on affirmed data that Yediyurappa will be supplanted, however nobody accepted and were denying it, yet it has ended up being genuine today.

‘By eliminating Yediyurappa (as CM) I don’t expect that an able government will come or a fair Chief Minister will come, as BJP itself is a bad gathering, Ministers in BJP are bad Ministers, so whoever comes, it will be a bad and inept government once more,’ he added.

The 78-year old Lingayat strongman likewise said that the gathering central leadership will give him bearings on July 25 about his future as the Chief Minister of Karnataka.

State Congress President D K Shivakumar said, ‘we have been saying about it (Yediyurappa’s exit)…it is their gathering matter, let them do whatever they want…We don’t have anything do with their gathering matters.’PTI KSU SS PTI
