Make Success the Way of Life: Shiv Khera

The Inspirational Talk on “Make Success the Way of Life” by Mr.Shiv Khera, Author, Educator, Motivational Speaker was held on 9th January 2019 at 11 am at Andromeda Lecture Theatre, Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science, Padur, Chennai, to the benefit of the students and staff members of the Hindustan Group of Institutions (HGI).

Dr. N. Vasudevan, Dean-Academics, HITS has delivered the welcome address. He has outset the speaker credits in the field of motivational talk. He has also stress the importance of the talk for the organizations.  Dr. K.P. Isaac, Vice Chancellor, HITS extended his warm welcome with bouquet to the Speaker.

Dr. K.P.Isaac, Vice Chancellor, HITS, Dr. Aby Sam, Director, Hindustan Group of Institution, Mr. Ashok Verghese, Director, Hindustan Group of Institutionhave presided over the function. A total of 500 Students and staffs from Hindustan Group of Institutions have participated in the seminar.

Mr. Shiv Khera has defined the Success as a blue print of Your Attitude, Your Values and Your Vision. He has stated that Anything is possible to achieve by psyching oneself with positive thinking. He has also clearly explained that Positive thinking alone cannot guarantee success. “It is a supplement, not a substitute for your action plan. Your positive action combined with positive thinking results in success.” He said that it was will power more than skill that contributes to one’s success.

He added that “Even though technical skill and people skill are essential; it is people skill that is vital as you climb higher in your career”. He has suggested to build the good relationships, so that many problems can be solved. He has also added that success in life depends on our ability to sell with the essential values of the life includes Integrity and courtesy. He advised to avoid miscommunication, keep up team work, have a goal and vision, Don’t quit. Don’t give up. He concluded that time is the money.

Mr. Ashok Verghese, Director, Hindustan Group of Institutions has given a memento to the Speaker Mr. Shiv Khera. Dr. Pon Ramalingam, Registrar, HITS has delivered the Vote of Thanks.
