Deeksha invites nominations for ‘VidyaDaan’

Deeksha, a well-known name in the Pre-University and competitive exam space, invites nominations for their unique scholarship initiative ‘VidyaDaan’. This CSR initiative by Deeksha gives economically underprivileged students a chance towards a bright future. The last date for making the nominations will be 31st May, 2017. To reach the children in need, Deeksha will be giving people the PowerToNominate a meritorious student who has completed 10th standard but does not have the means to pursue further studies. The students shortlisted from the nominations will receive a full scholarship to pursue well-designed class 11 and 12 programs in the Science or Commerce stream which include comprehensive preparation for competitive exams to enable them to secure admission into top professional colleges in India.

100+ scholarships have been instituted under this initiative. VidyaDaan’s philosophy is Transform a Life, Gift Education. Deeksha has the distinction of creating many toppers in JEE, NEET, CET and PU exams. Through this initiative Deeksha plans to join hands with all those who want to make a difference and build a stronger society, one life at a time.
Either log on to the website vidyadaan.deekshalearning.com or stop by any of Deeksha’s campuses and leave an application in the drop-box placed there along with the parent’s BPL card/ income certificate, student’s 10th marks card, address proof and two passport size photos of the student. These documents can also be posted/ couriered to Deeksha’s Head Office in Bengaluru (address can be found on the website).
Nominations received will be validated and screened before shortlisting. There are two expert committees for screening and shortlisting. They comprise veterans from the education and social sector.
