It is worth recollecting that declaring CBSE 12th result 2020 was a challenging affair as the process of conducting the exam itself came to a grinding halt on two occasions.
The first time the 12th exams came to halt due to violent protests with regards to CAA. The exams had to be stopped for the second time due to the coronavirus outbreak this year.
There were attempts to conduct CBSE exams for 12th standard along with that of 10th standard exams. There were dates announced later on and many discussions took place.
However, exams could not be conducted and recently the cancellation of exams was announced. The cancellation was made public amidst the rising opinion of many students and parents to do away exams citing the reasons of safety.
Many parents felt exams had to be canceled as coronavirus problem was yet to subside.
The assessment was carried based on marks scored by students in other subjects and allotted marks in the subjects for which exams were canceled.
This year there has been a delay till July for declaring CBSE 12th result 2020, the same was declared on 2 May last year.
About 38,686 students have scored above 95 percent. About 1,57,934 students have registered a score of more than 90 percent.
The next point of focus after releasing CBSE 12th result 2020 is the optional improvement exams. Sources say CBSE intends to conduct improvement exams when the situation is conducive.
The results of the students who wish to sit for the improvement exams will be revised and marks will be allotted after that.
Students must remember that marks obtained in the improvement exam will be treated as final.
