VIT Chennai celebrates 69th Republic Day

VIT Chennai celebrated Republic Day and hoisted the National Tri color flag. Mr M. M. Rajendran, former Governor of Odisha was the chief guest and also took the salutein the march past presented by VIT, Chennai students in the presence of Ms. Kadhambari S. Viswanathan, asst. Vice President, and Dr.N. Sambandam , Pro-Vice Chancellor,VIT,Chennai.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr M. M. Rajendran emphasized the Freedom of Speech and Freedom of Judiciary review which are the most integral part of our Indian Constitution. He appreciated the work of Dr. G. Viswanathan, Founder and Chancellor of VIT, for his dedication and contribution in the field of higher education. Also he urged the students to be updated with the upcoming technologies, like block chain, data analytics and artificial intelligence. He motivated students to help the rural areas to fill the economic gap and also emphasized on the need of merging technology with agriculture to improvise the present condition. He urged students to focus on learning as a continuous process and character building.
