The overall Championship of vibrance’19 won by Manipal Institute of Technology

The grand annual, cultural and sports fest of VIT Chennai-Vibrance’19 concluded on 23 February 2019 and was a splendid success! At the end of day three, the valedictory ceremony was graced by the famous music director, film producer and actor Mr. GV Prakash along with VIT Vice President Mr. G. V. Selvam and Dr. Pro Vice Chancellor Dr N. Sambandam.

GV Prakash has predominantly scored music for Tamil films and in his address he said that Fests at VIT are great and it is a dream of many skilled performers to perform at VIT.  He then interacted with the students and frankly answered the questions on his personal and professional life. 

He walked back into his memories with Mr.N.Muthukumar, the lyricist and he recorded that his demise is terrible loss to him. He also added that it is his bliss to be with Famous music director Mr. A.R.Rahman from his childhood.  And for the questions regarding his career as an actor he said that every director he has worked under has sculpted him.

The festival was a convivial gathering of brilliant talents, expertise and motivated participants from all over India. Prizes were given away for these events by our esteemed Chief Guest.  

The overall Championship for cultural events was won by Manipal Institute of Technology. Vibrance’19 brought in massive participation of 4500 students for 115 events from 210 institutions across India promoting inter-collegiate relations.

Following the Valedictory ceremony, the third night of Proshows was held with DJ Justri, Progressive Brothers and MC Noizee, who ended the fest in the most magnificent way possible.
