The greenery is here-ICF takes up the task that has twin benefits

Artwork can be taken up with refuse material that is available in our backyard. Creating greenery around the innovative work would add beauty to the surrounding. The green belt inaugurated on the ICF premises on New Avadi Road on 23 November highlighted those two concepts.
The moment became special as former principal of Government College of Arts and Crafts Alphonsa Arul and Bharatanatyam choreographer and director Radhika Shurajit inaugurated the work of innovation, the second green belt that comprises metallic sculptures amidst greenery.
Artists who were behind the creation of the second green belt were also honoured at Chennai Rail Museum premises after the inauguration. Chelian, Shalini Biswajit, Jacob Jebaraj, Sailesh, Benitha, Ravindran, Shaktivel, Tejomaye Menon, Asma Menon were the artists to receive felicitations.
Kalai Arasi, Mulaipari, Kuthuvilakku, duality, emperor, santos, trigunas and traversing ICF journey were the themes on which the sculptures in the second belt were made. This is the second green belt to be established by the prestigious railway coach making organisation. Both the green belts created by ICF have become centres of attraction and have come as a breeze of change for the mundane traffic bottlenecks along these roads.
