HCAS Holds Alumni Meet

REHASH 2019 an alumni meet which was held at HCAS campus recently and was participated by staffs and alumni students in large numbers. Mr. V. Kandasamy, DGM Port Trust was the Chief Guest. He cited about how to get students trained for industry and they must have a basic knowledge about science like microbiology and build a strong foundation in practical skills. He also said, he is ready to give internship and job opportunities for juniors and all students. He also encouraged students on how to build relationships between industry and educational institutions.

The welcome address was given by Dr. S. Illanjiam, alumni co-ordinator of HCAS who welcomed gathering which motivated students and said responsibility to students. And Dr. S. Thirumagan, the Principal, HCAS gave away felicitation address, said of stages in ones education and career and how one should cope up with in competitive environment.

Dr. V.J. Phllip, Deputy Director of Academics, in his presidential address recalled alumni meet from his earlier days and spoke on responsibility of alumni for improvement of any society and what that person can gain from that society. The vote of thanks was given by Miss Aparja Ist year BSc Microbiology student as she thanked every one for making this occasion a success.
