HCAS CONDUCTS NSS CAMPUS CLEANING DRIVE

The NSS unit of HCAS conducted one day  campus cleaning drive under PM Modi’s Swach Bharat scheme. Fifty NSS volunteers and two NSS programme officers participated in the project.

The cleaning up inside the campus involved  in picking upused waste materials like tea cups, paperswastes that were thrown away on the ground and also cutting upthegrown grasses using tools and involved in  all other activities.

The idea  is to make the campus clean and neat so that it becomes more habitable to all users including students and lecturers. It started in the  morning and went around till 2:00 pm.

NSS programme officers Mr.V. Saravana Sundar and S.Palaniappan supervised the overall activities.
