AN Intellectual Seminar Held at Hindustan Community College

The Hindustan Community College held a seminar last December 5, Wednesday in its premises. Dr. Thirumagan, the Principal spoke on the importance of empowering and helping those under privileged as the HCC does gives in preparing for a career in their lives. Dr. V.J. Phillip, spoke on the importance of career oriented education in a competitive world and relevance of HCC while Mr. Jayachandran, Director HCC, has outlined the steps taken in empowerment of students towards their role in the community.

Various dignitaries like the GM of Taj hotel and a beautician of a well reputed salon and other leading personalities from the city of Chennai participated in the seminar.

The actual dynamics and objectives of the seminar is :
To introduce an intellectual exercise among the staffs and students and to listen to the great scholars deliverances in the area of study about their “Community College” and to derive various solutions to the problems.

To find out from the aspirant speakers the various career and employment opportunities available in various field of study.

The Hindustan Community College has been established by the Hindustan Group of Institutions to support and help various rural poor community youths. Especially School dropouts and 10th ,11th & 12th failures. The training and teaching is focused to provide special technical skill to the students to prepare them for their goals to their success from their chosen career.

All the courses are affiliated to Tamil Nadu Open University . Furthermore, HCC also provides value added on skill based courses to Hindustan College of Arts & Science. Students will have an additional certificate and a Diploma package.
