German diplomat visits Sri City

Diplomatic tones rang loud in Sri City when Consul General of Germany in Chennai Ms Karin Stoll visited its premises on December 2.
Sources say, the top diplomat was welcomed on her arrival by Ramesh Subramaniam, president, Sri City Foundation. She was briefed about infrastructure, features and development activities inside the business city.
The tour had brought infront of her the bright investment prospects for German companies, their small and medium enterprises in particular in Sri City.
Ravindra Sannareddy, Founder Managing Director, Sri City said India has emerged as a destination that investors across the world, including Germany cannot overlook.
India’s manufacturing sector has evolved through several phases to the current state of global competitiveness. Germany remains the seventh largest foreign direct investor in India for the past two decades, and India is the sixth largest recipient of Foreign Direct Investment from Germany.Stating that Interaction of this kind will further enhance business ties between the two countries, he added,’I am confident, Consul General’s visit would pave way for some more investments from that country in Sri City.’
