You may be compelled to travel in the last minute due to personal or official commitments. Happy news is that Indian Railways is going to do something for those who do not have time to buy a reservation ticket and hurry to the railway station in the last minute.

Sources say that the prestigious establishment is about to introduce more antyodaya trains for those who are compelled to make way to the nearest railway station in the last minute. Tambaram to Nagercoil Express, Darbhanga to Jalandhar Express, Ernakulam to Howrah Express are among the antyodaya trains in active service.

Few more are likely to be started. Which means antyodaya trains will ply in many other routes. Antyodaya trains introduced in 2017 have won good response from the general public. Hope that the ones to be introduced will also be popular. Though antyodaya is for unreserved passengers, comfort factor inside the train coaches is very high.

Sources point out, about 100 new antyodaya coaches will be manufactured during the 2019-2020. Hint is that about five new antyodaya trains will be made during financial year 2019-2020. And, five antyodaya trains are likely to be rolled out in the next financial year. This will have new Linke Hofmann Busch (LHB) coaches.

Humsafar Express
Things do not appear to be limited to antyodaya trains alone. Sources from the established organisation point towards humsafar trains. Plans are there to introduce more of them. About 200 coaches for humsafar are going to be made during 2019-2020, say sources. About ten humsafar trains will be rolled out in 2020-2021.

Uday Express
Plans seem to be there to bring out Uday Express trains also. Known as Utkrisht Double Decker Air Conditioned Yatri Service (UDAY). Currently, Coimbatore to Bengaluru KSR Express is the well known Uday service, new service is likely to be added. This service is focused around business travellers and has luxury atmosphere inside the train. Trains in the three categories became popular among the masses earlier owing to better comfort and safety and amenities. Hope the ones to be rolled out soon will also become equally popular.
