RPF official makes it again

The fame of Railway Protection Force (RPF) unit of Southern Railway reached the sky again with one of its members receiving President’s Police Medal for distinguished service.

T.S. Gopakumar, Assistant  Security Commissioner, RPF, Ernakulam in Thiruvananthapuram division has been awarded this year’s President’s Police Medal (PPM)  for distinguished service on the occasion of Independence Day.

Gopakumar is the lone recipient of the prestigious award from the Railway Protection Force/Railway Protection Special Force of Indian Railway this year. 

Prior to being posted as Assistant Security Commissioner Gopakumar had worked in various capacities in many other places including Thiruvananthapuram and Railway Board, New Delhi.
