National Commission chief visits S Rly

Southern Railway headquarters was the hub of activity when chairperson of National Commission for Scheduled Tribes (NCST) visited it recently.

Sources from Southern Railway said Chairperson Nand Kumar Sai visited Southern Railway along with Anusuiya Uikey, vice chairperson of NCST and Harshadbhai Chunnilal Vasava, Harikrishan Damor and  Maya Chintamn Ivnate, the members of the commission and NCST joint secretary Sishu Kumar Ratho. 

An audio visual presentation was made by Southern Railway regarding the measures taken by the zone for the welfare of the scheduled tribes and for the protection of their rights.

The Commission reviewed the measures taken by Southern Railway with regard to the welfare of scheduled tribes in the organisation and met with the representatives of SC/ST associations and received representations and obtained feedback. 

P.K.Mishra, additional general manager, Southern Railway,  Sunita Vedantham, principal chief personnel officer, G.Sreenivasa Rao, chief personnel officer (administration), Jagdish Alagar, Chief Personnel Officer (industrial relations) and other principal heads of departments of Southern Railway were among those present.
