False job promises made, aspirants lose money

There is no dearth of people who are willing to take advantage of our situations and make money out of it. This has come to limelight once again, thanks to a racket of false job promises being made by certain people.
According to sources, job aspirants were conned into paying money for employment in Indian Railways by elements running a racket. Lured by the promise job aspirants are said to have paid the amount.
Sources point out that an amount of Rs 4 lakh has been collected from each aspirant. A complaint has been lodged with Railway Protection Force (RPF) by seven persons as they did not land in the job they were promised.
The matter is now posted with Flower Bazar Police station. While K Sathyamurthy, a former railway employee is said to have been taken into custody, the matter is under investigation and police are in search of others involved the racket.
