About 1730 candidates selected for PRF constable posts

The candidates who were  selected recently for the post of constable in RPF will be appointed on successful completion of medical examination and police verification.

According to a press release from Railways, about 1730 candidates have been selected for the post of constables in Group A (Southern Railway, South Western Railway and South Central Railway) and the results of this are said to be put on ‘www.indianrailways.gov.in

Out of these 1730 candidates, 803 are male and 927 are female. Ministry of Railways, Government of India issued a notification for recruitment of constables in Railway Protection Force (RPF) and Railway Protection Special Force (RPSF) around 19 to 25 May last year for 1731 vacancies in Group-A.

A total of 17310 candidates (male-8040 and female-9270)  appeared for physical efficiency, physical measurement test and document verification, which was held at RPF parade grounds at  Ayanavaram from 8 to 26 April this year. It is from this 1730 candidates were selected.
