Venkaiah Naidu May Look into Sen-Puri Issue if Written Complaint is Filed: Report

Rajya Sabha executive M Venkaiah Naidu may take up the issue of announced trades between TMC pioneer Santanu Sen and Union priest Hardeep Singh Puri inside the House after it was dismissed, sources said Friday. They said Naidu disclosed to some resistance individuals that there is no point of reference of the director having taken insight of such episodes, yet he may take it up if a composed grumbling is gotten. Sen was suspended from the House for the rest of the meeting for his raucous conduct in the house as he grabbed and tore IT Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw’s assertion on Thursday.

He later claimed that Puri undermined and loudly manhandled him after the House was deferred in the midst of ruckus. On the issue of the movement of Sen’s suspension not recorded in the business, Naidu said the director is enabled to allow any business to be taken up in the House without being recorded in the List of Business for the afternoon, in light of the idea of such business as has been occurring throughout the long term. This has been permitted according to Rule 29(2) of the Rules of Procedure and Conduct of Business in the Council of States.

This standard enables the Chairman of Rajya Sabha to permit any business to be taken up in the House without it being recorded for the afternoon. On no chance given to Sen to communicate lament after he tore Vaishnaw’s assertion, Naidu is accepted to have told the resistance chiefs that it was not for the Chair to propose to the part worried to communicate lament.
