S Rly gets new SDGM and CVO

Pramod Kumar has taken charge as senior deputy general manager and chief vigilance officer of Southern Railway on 11 December. According to a press release, J. P. Pandey who held this position till recently is posted as principal chief material manager of Western Railway.
Prior to the present position, Pramod Kumar chief project director with Railway Electrification wing in Jaipur. Southern Railway sources point out that Pramod Kumar is a graduate in electrical engineering from Agra University.
He belongs to Indian Railway Service Electrical Engineers (IRSEE) of 1984 UPSC batch and has wide experience in various segments namely railway operations, traction distribution, rolling stock operations and construction.
He has worked in various fields across seven railway zones before joining Southern Railway. He had also worked deputy chief vigilance officer in Central Organisation for Railway Electrification (Allahabad), additional divisional railway manager (Jaipur), divisional railway manager (Moradabad), chief electrical engineer, North Central Railway (Allahabad) and executive director, Research Design and Standards Organisation.
