Chennai India Expo Shop 2018′ the two day exposition that aimed to explore investment opportunities in the event industry in the southern part of this nation was held in Chennai recently. Inaugurated by Nawabzada Mohammed Asif Ali, Dewan to Prince of Arcot on 21 September, the two day programme was organised by Chennai chapter of Indian Exhibitions, Conferences and Events Services Association (IESA) in association with EEMA.
The main objective behind the event is to enhance the growth in the event industry through creating awareness, organising practical demonstration and productive interactions between various stakeholders of the event industry. The sectors of the event industry represented in the two day programme are exhibitions, conferences and weddings. IESA created a widespread awareness of the opportunities in Tamilnadu in the areas of organising conferences, exhibitions and weddings through this exhibition.
The conference offered an opportunity for people who are willing to explore the segment of event organising. VR. Subbulaxmi, Managing Director, Chennai Trade Centre, Sanjeev Pasricha, Executive Vice President, EEMA, Group Captain R Vijay Kumar (retired), Executive Director, Madras Management Association, Arun Samuel, Chairman and Managing Director, Wings Group of Companies, Vasisht, General Secretary, IESA were among those present.
