Distribution of ‘Nilavembu Kudineer’ and Dengue Awareness

With the commencement of Northeast monsoon, the NSS Unit of Valliammai Engineering College organized a cycle of distribution of ‘Nilavembu Kudineer’ to Faculties, Students, Staff and public.

The programme was conducted from 30.10.2019 to 01.11.19 (three days) between 10.00 a.m. and 12.30 p.m. Nearly 1500 members were benefited by drinking ‘Nilavembu Kudineer’.

It was a precautionary measure for the students, staff and public to be safeguarded against Dengue and other viral fevers.

The fogging machines were used by the NSS volunteers and the employees in and around the college campus to eradicate mosquitos on alternate days.
