Centre, states should work as a team to combat COVID pandemic, rise above politics: PM Modi
In a country with a diverse population, with much of our population living in poor, unhygienic, and clustered locations it’s nearly impossible to completely get over with this Coronavirus. The central government engaged with the public to urge them to stay indoors and making a mandatory on wearing a mask ultimately it’s the state government that plays a major role in implementing these measures. Compared to many developed and developing nations and less populated they have a very efficient health care system, they can overcome this pandemic with ease.
PM Narendra Modi called for the Centre and states to work as a team and raise over politics to compete against the COVID pandemic. He made the remarks at the all-party meeting called by the central government, which was skipped by some opposition parties including the congress. India has a very underdeveloped health care system, sure the medical procedure costs us less when compared with other wealthy countries.

TRS leader Nama Nageswara Rao encouraged the government to increase the vaccination drive and remarked with concern that the second wave had a serious impact on the rural population as well.
