Univ conducts induction programme

Students were the centre of attraction when SRM Arts and Science College (SRMIST) conducted its induction day. Dr R Vasudevaraj welcomed the gathering and introduced the chief guest A.B. Devendhra Poopathy, joint commissioner (state tax), Chennai (north) division.

Mr Devendhra stressed on the importance of journey of life. Victories are just comfort zones, what matters is how me undertake the whole journey of life, he said.

SRMIST pro-vice chancellor T P Ganesan stressed the need to discover inner self among the students. Dr K.Subburam, Associate Director, SRMIST stressed on the need for emotional intelligence and skills. 

Managing director of SIMS Hospitals (Chennai) R Padmapriya spoke about the importance of dreams and achieving it through holistic development in studies.
