Schools to reopen in July in phased manner: Haryana Education Minister Kanwar Pal

In one of the conferences in Chandigarh on June, 04,2020 the Education Minister of Haryana Kanwar Pal was present and was questioned about his future plans regarding educational institutions and their opening. And he said that they will be reopening the schools from July and universities and colleges August onwards.

Education minister Kanwar Pal said that " we will be reopening schools in a phased manner and will start teaching work for the higher
classes that are 10th, 11th, and 12th from July 1, followed by the teaching work for classes 6th, 7th, 8th, and 9th after fifteen days, and at last in August teaching work for primary classes that are 1st to 4thwill be scheduled.

Also, to maintain social distancing in the COVID pandemic, he said schools will be working in shifts or on alternative days with 50% strength only, i.e. in a class of 30 students, 15 will attend the lecture in the morning and the other 15 will be attending an evening or with same 15-15 procedure on alternative days.

For maintaining regularity and ensure the proper functioning of this the procedure he added that a demo will also be conducted in four to five
schools to prepare a better plan reopening and smooth running of educational institutions.

Also, the education minister and the Board of School Education Haryana (BSEH) added that the pending examination for class 12 students will be conducted from July 1 to 15. And the results for grade 10 students will also be declared soon.
