SRMIST Organizes a Six Weeks Certificate Course in Sports Coaching

SRMIST organizes a six weeks certificate course in sports coaching from 14th May to 25th June 2019 in the following discipline, Under the Auspices of Sports Authority of India.
- Athletics
- Basketball
- Football
- Kabaddi
- Volleyball
Students from all over India attended the Six week certificate course in Sports coaching. Most of the students are working in schools, colleges, railways, Police and in services public sector.
The purpose of attending the course is to enrich their knowledge in the concerned discipline .They had Morning and evening practical’s and in between from 10.00am to 1.00pm theory classes and they learnt the advance training methods in their particular disciplines .During practical they learnt Tactics & Strategy that they were adopting in the game situations. In addition to that they learnt rules and regulations.
Dr. K.RAMASAMY Director (Faculty & Academics) delivered the valedictory address and distributed the certificates to the trainees Prof Dr.K.Vaithianathan; Director Sports Welcomed the gathering Dr R.Mohana Krishnan proposed vote of thanks. All the SAI coaches attended the function and grace the occasion.
