National seminar on social networking media held

Department of Management Studies in Jeppiaar Engineerig College rose to the occasion and organised a national seminar on ‘Social networking medias: Security and Challenges recently.

Tamilnadu Minister for Labour Nilofer Kafeel stressed on following taking precautionary measures while using the social media platforms. She inaugurated the seminar which was sponsored by ICSSR and IMPRESS Scheme.

Taking precautionary measures will keep us away from problems, she said. Eminent personalities spoke on current trends in social media, legal frame work of cyber security in India.

Seminar also discussed about threats and challenges in social network media, impact of social media on the society and role of social media on research and academic development.
