HCAS celebrated Silver Jubilee

Hindustan College of Arts & Science College is celebrating Silver Jubilee this year. As a part of celebration department of Mathematics organised “Ramanujan Gold Medal Award”- Aptitude Test on 3rd December, 2019.

In this regard, different schools were chosen in and around our College and written Test was conducted for the students with 100 objective type questions within a time frame of 90 min. 

In the valedictory function college director Dr. Susan Marthandan states that she was proud to host such an event for the development of the rural poor students with a passion for education. Dr. V. J. Philip, Deputy Director HCAS, Mr. Samuel Sampath Kumar, Vice Principal HCAS and Dr. Angeline Cristobel, Dean of Computational Studies graced the occasion with their presence.  

Dr. S. Thirumagan, Principal HCAS welcomed the gathering with the motivational talk. Based on the Test, the following prizes were given to top three students by our director Dr. Susan Marthandan

• I Prize – Gold Medal and Rs.5,000/- cash
• II Prize – Rs. 5,000/- cash
• III Prize – Rs. 3,000/- cash

Apart from the above prizes, the top 15 students was selected and they were given following tuition fee concession for B.Sc Mathematics admission in HCAS.

• 1^st to 5^th toppers will be given 100% waiver in Tuition Fee for B.Sc. Mathematics Degree Course.
• 6^th to 10^th toppers will be given 50% concession in Tuition Fee for B.Sc. Mathematics Degree Course.
• 11^th to 15^th toppers will be given 25% concession in Tuition Fee for B.Sc. Mathematics Degree Course.
