FOOTBALL MANIA ENGULFS VELAMMAL

The football team who competed for FIFA World Cup was honored by the students of Velammal School, Mugappair Campus by giving them tribute last June 21 of the same year.
In connection with this, around 1000 students of class VI – VIII sketched the dazzling football world cup logo in school campus.
A non-stop Rangoli for 3 hours was conducted in order to create an awareness and spirit of sportsmanship in the game of football.
The campus looked colourful with flags of different countries flying aloft to show the zeal and enthusiasm for both the audience and the players alike. The students were enthralled and overwhelmed on seeing the said logo. The management encouraged and appreciated all the participants who were involved in the occasion of success and happiness.
