    “Click O Mania” by The Amity School of Communication since

    Click O Mania” a photographic annual event has been consistently organized by the Amity School of Communication since last five years. The participants click pictures on the subject given by teachers.
    Theme for this year was “Travelogue and Festival”. Students have clicked wonderful photographs on the theme. The event was attended by vice chancellor of Amity University Mr. V.K. Sharma and M.P. Kaushik.

    The competition was judged by senior photographer of Dainik Bhaskar, Ravi Upadhyay. All the participants showed great enthusiasm during the event and the winner was Mehtab sing and the second position was held by Sarmar Kaushik; Dharpan Gupta and Abhishek Singh secured the third and the fourth position respectively.

    The campus of Amity University filled with spotlights lights and playlist of popular songs as the students walked the ramp showing off a range of colorful designs. The whole show, Paridhan, was organised for the first time at the college campus by the students.

    It was a historical event honored by Ruchi Thakur, Deepika Gupta, Mr. and Mrs. Biswas, Meekshi Mathur, Rohit Sharma as judges. Vice Chancellor V K Sharma and pro-vice chancellor M P Kaushik and the departments HOD, dean, and faculties were also present.

    There were three rounds in total and the winners were Shaik Shavez and Mansa and Ashish Prabhat and Pallavi Chantala were runners-up. The sponsors were Nishant Wadhwani from Leosco India apparel, Ranjeet Singh from Medusa, Vijay Jain and Himanshu Gupta from Bhukhaa.com,  Shiv Sikarwar, Himanshu Shakyawar and Raj Sen from Seasons tea, Ashwini Seth from Dennison Manufacturing, and Dhrendra Jhoshi from Swarna Jewellery.

    In Amity University Gwalior celebrated their annual sports meet Sanghatan 2017, which is running for a month.  Observed in honour of Ashok K Chauhan, founder president, Amity, a perfect  mélange of 150 Amity Institutions,17 Amity Schools and pre-schools from 15 cities of India as well as students from Amity London, Singapore, New York, California, Dubai and Mauritius campus come to Amity grounds and give the respect to their founder president.

    Sangathan started with a flag hosting, students participate in 35 different sports and games including badminton, square, basketball, volleyball, karate, judo, cricket, chess, swimming, football, etc. students play the attention in all games. This cultural of Amity campuses is very colorful.

    Amity University Gwalior vice-chancellor VK Sharma, pro-vice chancellor M P. Kaushik, departments HODs and faculties were present at the sports meet. At the time of prize distribution, 170 medals of gold and 170 medals of silver and 170 medals of brooch medals and best player of the event were presented with a Sangathan trophy by the university vice-chancellor. After the prize distribution vice-chancellor of the university gave a motivational speech for students.

    VK Sharma said that girls are very hard working and they have energy like boys. And this win stage is not our last win in the stage of life and that we have to do a lot of hard work for big things and conquest of life. It is our responsibility to care and respect our country and if we all will in these activities, we all will be prepared physically and mentally for our work.

    Amity University Madhya Pradesh organised a mock press conference for its students on the 22nd of September in the university campus itself. The event was the 5th annual one co-ordinated by the amity school of communication.

    The press conference had 10 participants who had to speak on the any of the 5 topics given to them via the chit system from politics, sports, business, entertainment and law. While the political the topic was Presstitution: a safer substitute for press freedom, topic surrounding Law was Right to privacy vs Aadhar. The sports topic was Gender bias in sports: media attention, endorsements and hypnotised audience and business topic was Disinvestment by the state: The fall of public sector. The mock conference has an entertainment segment with Sex,Violence and item songs :the ultimate solution to the scarcity of good original scripts?.

    Divided into 2, the 1st segment was the elocution round,where the participants put forth their opinions and views regarding their topics in the allotted time period of 2 minutes. The 2nd segment was question and answer round where the jury members as well as the audience were free to ask any question to any of the participants related to their respective topics.

    The first batch of participants were Mayur Talreja, Siddhika Fatima, Siddharth Singh Tomar and Mallika Jain with Ajeesha Nair and the second batch consisted of Abhishek Singh Sikarwar, Katyani Singh, Kamna Chopra and Nehal Singh along with Soumya Singh. All participants put forth their views and opinions quite smoothly and remarkably and answered the questions put out for them strikingly well. The winners were declared as Mayur Talreja and Siddharth Singh Tomar securing 3rd place, Kamna Chopra bagged the 2nd place and Nehal Singh secured top spot.

    Vice Chancellor Lt-Gen V.K. Sharma, AVSM (retd.) praised the students for their active participation. Prof. Dr. M.P. Kaushik, and Dr. Sumit Narula (Director A.S.C.O). The jury for the event was Dr. Iti Roy Chaudhary Director of Amity School of Languages, along with Brig. Rajesh Ghangele, Prof. Dr. M.P. Kaushik, and Dr. Sumit Narula (Director A.S.C.O) and faculty Coordinator of the event Nihaz were also present.
