Patna, June 11, 2026: In a significant step toward strengthening India’s digital workforce ecosystem, Vishlesan I-Hub Foundation (TIH IIT Patna), operating under the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Patna, has announced the successful deployment of SIA, a multilingual AI-powered workforce assistance platform designed to empower telecom field technicians across the country.

Developed using advanced Natural Language Processing (NLP) technologies, SIA has been incubated and supported by TIH IIT Patna in collaboration with SCOGO Networks. The platform enables seamless communication, workforce coordination, onboarding, and operational support in multiple Indian languages, helping overcome one of the biggest challenges in workforce development—language accessibility.

Bridging India’s Linguistic Diversity Through AI

India’s telecommunications industry relies heavily on a vast network of field technicians operating in diverse linguistic regions. SIA addresses this challenge by allowing workers to interact with digital systems in their preferred language, ensuring better understanding, faster learning, and improved operational efficiency.

Currently, the platform supports 50 Indian languages and regional dialects, making it one of the most extensive multilingual workforce enablement solutions deployed in the telecom sector.

Leadership Driving Innovation

The initiative has been implemented under the leadership of Prof. Trilok Nath Singh, Director of IIT Patna and Chairman of the Board of Directors, TIH IIT Patna, along with Dr. Anup Kumar Keshri, Project Director of TIH IIT Patna.

Speaking about the initiative, Prof. Singh emphasized the importance of integrating entrepreneurship, skill development, and language accessibility into a unified ecosystem. He highlighted how TIH IIT Patna addressed hardware-based learning challenges through easy-to-learn electronic training kits, while SCOGO Networks collaborated with NLP experts from IIT Patna to create an accessible multilingual learning and support platform.

Creating Employment Opportunities Through Innovation

The initiative demonstrates how indigenous technology, startup incubation, AI-driven learning systems, and industry partnerships can work together to create employment opportunities for last-mile telecommunications technicians.

Through incubation support and ecosystem development provided by TIH IIT Patna, SCOGO Networks has successfully deployed complementary training and communication solutions that are helping build a more skilled and inclusive telecom workforce across India.

Advancing Digital India Through Indigenous AI

The deployment of SIA reflects India’s growing capabilities in developing indigenous Artificial Intelligence solutions tailored to local challenges. By combining multilingual AI, workforce training, and startup innovation, the initiative contributes to the broader vision of Digital India and inclusive technological growth.

As AI continues to transform industries, platforms like SIA are setting new benchmarks for workforce empowerment, ensuring that language is no longer a barrier to skill development, employment, and professional growth.
