Speaking to the audience, the prime minister said that the Indian community has greatly enhanced the India-Kuwait relationship and that it is essential to maintaining the two countries’ relationship. He thanked His Highness the Amir of Kuwait for the kind invitation and said that an Indian prime minister was coming to Kuwait for the first time in forty-three years to cement and deepen the long-standing friendship.

The prime minister expressed gratitude for the community’s efforts, accomplishments, and contributions to Kuwait’s growth, which he claimed were widely acknowledged by the local administration and the general public. He went into detail about India’s quick development and change, particularly in the areas of sustainability, infrastructure, and technology. In addition to being the world’s fifth largest economy, he pointed out that India was the world leader in fintech, the third-largest global player in the start-up arena, and one of the most technologically advanced societies on the planet.

He emphasized successes like inclusive growth, women-led development, and financial inclusion. He emphasized that there were many chances for India and Kuwait to collaborate, reflecting on the two nations’ common goals of VIKSIT BHARAT and NEW KUWAIT. India’s inventiveness and skill set may encourage new collaborations between the two nations. The Prime Minister invited people from the diaspora to take part in the Pravasi Bharatiya Divas and Maha Kumbh, which will take place in India in January 2025.
